 addition @Loys&Greene

oops seems that I was to fast! The regeneration is a feature we build in but haven't committed yet.
So stay tuned we'll release the updated game in a few days.

Greetings

Fist at all - thank you for your commendation,

@Broken - like Andreas said, the "swamp rat" tavern is a quest that continues in the next game. So please be patient.

@Loys - okay thanks we'll check this out. The rogue has something like a crowbar, the lock pick and he has the best skill. But maybe the problem is not every chest could be open.

@Loys&Greene: i guess you both played an older version of our game*. Because things regarding the rest problem are "solved" by us. We decided to add a reg in non combat mode. So your heroes will get life and mana back over time.
Regarding the rewards: we have to check the currency problem, because I thing you'll always get coppers. Maybe we made mistakes in the conversation texts - sorry!

But once again thank you very much for playing our game and post your opinions and suggestion here in the forum.

*this game is spread via platforms we can't control so please check for the newest version on your homepage or www.newgrounds.com.

with kind regards
Evil-Developers-Team

Hallo and "gratulierung" for this great game

i give you a link for anothergame -similar- check it out and maybe you'll find interesting ideas for the next version : http://www.kongregate.com/games/EA2D/dragon-a ge-journeys

some nice ideas from this game : "fast-travel" button, nice graphics, game-play similar to Avael

Some ideas :
when the hero finds a bed, could he have the choice to REST ?

Random monster creation for gold & levelling ?

Could the Rogue find a crowbar ? I hate locked doors or chests... if it's noisy, bring in the monsters or guards !

Anyway you did a very nice job, and i wanted to thank you for this, given the pleasure i had to play !

Auf wiedersehen !

Loys from France

Great RPG engine, exactly what the flash RPG world has been missing!
now you just need to keep the engine and characters, and add more dungeons.

Small comments:
1.in chimera, when you mouse-over your hero portraits, the tool-tip displays incorrect HP and MP
2. it is really annoying that there is no real way to rest and regenrate health and mana (nobody ever has 200 coins, face it). Thats pretty standard in all RPGs, starting from wizardry, WoW - if you get injured, retreat, rest, regen HP and MP, and try again. In Chimera, if you retreat from a battle, you cannot rest, you cannot realistically hope to earn 200 coins, and you're stuck, the whole game is lost, unless you reload.
3. Another result from the same thing -- the Mana+5 items were useless to me - I bought them and raised my max mana, but I never actually recovered enough mana during rest-time to reach my cap. Wasted money.
4. In the first or second rat mission in Chimera, you are promised "70 silver" as a reward. But when you kill the rats you don't get 70 silver (=700 copper?), you get a little copper.
5. The fact that you don't get quest rewards is annoying. You killed the rats, you killed the Big Bad Wolf, you desserve a reward.
